History and Interpretation of Innovation

The history and interpretation of innovation is an important course for designers to understand, define and distinguish from creative conjecture. I was asked to compare and contrast historical innovation vs. proclaimed innovation. I applied their finding toward the development of a personal definition of innovation and the role design management plays in creating the potential for innovation to occur.

During my time at SCAD, I wrote two research papers about the history and interpretation of innovation in Design. The first paper focused on the Evolution of typography and the second one was focused on Pantone Color systems.
